SİNAN SAÜL

Born 1989, Istanbul; Sinan Saül graduated from Saint Benoit French Highschool in 2008 and later completed his undergraduate studies in Bocconi University Milan Italy with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Currently lives and works in İstanbul.
Sinan Saül unlike majority of the artists does not come from an ordinary art education and did not attend an art school. Saül's approach to art with this Art Brut concept and his past and opposing stance that is in contrast to the requirements of today's art market are very effective in his works. The cartoonistic figures he depicts in his works create the artist's inner world and a comedy of the chaos and contrast that is around. In this balance created between his inner world and his outer world, the artist is actually questioning the thin line between genius and crazy.
Saül displays his own past and the subjective effects of the socio-economic formations of the systemic order with the anthropomorphic characters mixed techniques paints he uses in his works.
